Flippin Hot Tobasco

Flippin Hot Tobasco is the only F1 CSHA licensed breeding stallion by Flipper, an imported Holsteiner stallion that became one of Canada’s top grand prix jumpers and competed for the Canadian Equestrian Team with rider Jay Hayes.

Tobasco proved his character, willingness and athleticism in 2011 when, just a few weeks after being introduced to stadium and cross country jumping, he was consistently earning top placings at training level horse trials and gained his Bronze Premium status. In 2009, Tobasco demonstrated his talent for dressage, consistently scoring over 60 in First Level tests, always finishing as Reserve Champion or Champion. His foals have correct conformation, good bone, superb temperaments and a willingness to please.

Highlights:

  • His offspring have consistently had excellent placings in Get of Sire classes at CSH breed shows and at the Royal Winter Fair.
  • He was the winner of the Ontario High Point CSHA Stallion 2009 and 2010.
  • At the 2011 Royal Winter Fair he won his class CSHA F-1 Stallion. His son, Finn, qualified for the 2010 Governor General’s and  Lieutenant Governor General’s Cup, and won the McCallum Futurity for Canadian-bred three-year-olds.

2012 will be an exciting year for Tobasco as he continues his eventing career. We are proud to announce that Sylvia Dixon and Sarah Croft (www.beasleysporthorses.com) will be leasing him. Watch for several of his offspring while they make their under saddle debut in the show ring.
